Vyšehrad is one of the most beatifull places in Prague. It is historical fort that was built around 10th century on near the Vltava river. Within the castle there is located Basilica of St Peter and St Paul and also Vyšehrad Cemetery where remains important people of Czech history as Antonín Dvořák, Jan Neruda, Karel Čapek and many others. In areal there is also oldest building Rotunda of St Martin from the 11th century. Czech legends tell that the first settlement of Prague was located at Vyšehrad. This place is magical during every period and there is pretty nice view on Prague. Above we took some pictures during snowy winter time.
